Build living servers on real terrain: Skyrim-style branching NPC dialogue trees, NPCs that patrol, emote and keep a daily routine, visual quest flows, custom loot economies, and 1-click cryptographically signed mod exports. Zero mod dependencies. No CF. No DayZ Expansion required.
Already installed? Studio offers each update by itself when it starts — or use File ▸ ⟳ Check for updates. Your projects, keys and map data are kept.
Describe what went wrong and Studio does the rest: it zips its own log, the editor's recent errors and your newest DayZ and DayZ Server logs, then opens a GitHub issue with your report already written out.
NPCs got their own tab and a node graph for how they behave: they patrol, wander, keep a daily routine, greet you, wave, sit by the fire, follow you or lead you somewhere.
Switch between Studio views to see how the visual map editor, node quest graph, and live game viewport work together.
A true paradigm shift for DayZ server owners, scripters, and world builders.

Everything you need to craft custom RPG servers, trade outposts, and combat encounters.
Every NPC is one character in the NPCs tab, with its own look, place, faction, trader and a behaviour graph built just like a quest. Quests pick an NPC to talk to, so one character can give several quests — and NPCs no quest uses still live their routine.

While I utilized Claude to streamline aspects of development, DayZ Studio is by no means an automated AI creation. Countless hours of my own intense effort, problem-solving, architectural planning, and personal dedication went into building and refining this project. Far from being generic "AI slop," this is the result of genuine work and creative passion. I ask that you please respect the time and effort that went into bringing this project to life.

Documents\DayZStudio\BugReports and opens a new GitHub issue with your report filled in. Drag the zip into the issue and press Submit. Studio uploads nothing itself, your Windows user name is removed from the logs, and your project file is only included if you tick the box.
